Two trillium disaster posts at the same time. Yikes! Al, sorry about your frame trouble. I'm very interested in more details.

Trills aren't suppose to do that. So tell what did it feel like, or were you off somewhere and came back to find the phenomenon. Did you take a picture?? :) alright so you might have been just a little distracted. Glad alls better now.

spooky
We were inside waiting out a rain shower. When a loud pop was heard and the trailer moved i thought it just feell off some wood i put under the jack . When the rain stoped the front frame was on
the ground and the propane tank was trying to come thur the front wall. This is where they are prone to breaking the previous owner had welded on extra plate here but crack broke that plate in 2 now there is 3 plates holding together both sides of the frame. As a side note when they came and flat beded me out My canoeing partner said i was being evicted for snoring to loud what a clown:cheers

Trillium
Al V - Sounds as though you are doing okay, so far.
It's hard to realize through all the misfortune, sometimes, how really lucky we are. How wonderful that you were parked somewhere. Somewhere that had nearby facilities to make the repairs. You could have been heading down the highway in the middle of nowhere, hit a bump...then true disaster...
Glad all are okay and the Lil Trill is well on her way to being better.
Whew. Now, forward ho!

Thats not where I thought it would break. I'm thinking I might want to have another look at mine. I'm sorry for your situation but at least all turned out well.

Wow! That is scary. We just came back from Alaska with our Trillium. 5,200 miles of tough roads and other than a sprung door hinge we came thru alright. We'll fibreglass the hinge holes and redrill and should be good as new.
I hope yours all works out.

I guess that would be "the worst case scenario", DC, rush hour, rain, construction. Thank God no one was hurt. Glad you are all here to tell the story.

Hmmm. Mark. This is odd. Did you by any chance try to edit your story/post? (It's easy to delete a post by accident, if you're in Edit mode, after the initial posting.) We've been experiencing another round of ''technical difficulties'' these last couple of days... so I'm trying to figure out what might've happened to your post. :o
