Many Breweries use RO water and also add minerals back to match their brewing needs.
I did work for a MAJOR NATIONAL soft drink producer / bottler in Minnesota
The plant bottled water as well as soft drinks / soda
The bottled water consisted of filtered municipal tap water with minerals added for taste
Bottled water was their highest profit margin product .

About the only place we don't drink the water is Newfoundland. Every campground has a boil water order. When I speak to the park rangers they tell me they drink it but Ginny won't. She'll cook with it but not drink it.

I learned that the vast majority of the towns do not chlorinate their water so virtually every small town, and most have water systems, have boil water orders.

Generally we will drink from our tank but not in Newfoundland, one of the least polluted place we travel.

In the states, usually when we put water in our tank, we're putting in chlorinated water. To me chlorination makes it generally safe to drink.

I don’t drink the water from RV tap. I don’t trust the water from most CG’s and generally don’t like the taste so I bring my own drinking water and use CG/tank water for cleaning and bathing.
