Mine love it. They feel safe in it and retreat inside if something is scary (like fireworks or gunfire or thunder).

Our pups love the Burro, especially if we remembered to pack tennis balls! I love the gelcoat interior which can be easily wiped down after a dirty dog spends time inside. They always love to go go go with the pack!

Nope, my two hate it. They run and hide when I am packing. They now stay home with my husband who hates camping too.

As soon as we say "you wanna be an RV dog?", our Coco goes nuts. Loves camping. She's territorial about the trailer but in all honesty the worst she will do after barking at you is to lick you to death.

Our Mini-Brat Terrier loves all aspects of camping, but fishing best of all. She enjoyed traveling before we had the Scamp, but now it's on a whole other level. As far as she's concerned; it's her dog house, and she lets us use it. We miss out on certain events, because leaving her in the car or camper is usually out of the question, but that's a small price to pay.

HI, We have a 9 pound Yorkie that is over 10 years old and he loves it. I am not sure if it is the fact he sits on his pillow in the truck and can see where we are going or what. He loves the Scamp 19' and is working on the Keystone camper that is new. At first he wouldn't even come close to the Keystone. I guess he is just a Scamp type of dog. Small like him and everything was close to him. He wouldn't even bark in the camper and holds it all in until he is home and then barks. Crazy! He loves to travel!

The pug girls LOVE the trailer; if they get loose from their x-pen they run right inside; they love hiding out under the beds; they love finding fresh water inside the clothes closet; they love sleeping in there, and stayed very beautifully alone for two hours at Taidnapam last June when we went to the potluck dinner without them. I was really worried--but no noise and they were sound asleep when we got back and had to wake them up. (Not good watchdogs, apparently.)

They cling to us when we're packing, tripping us up and just almost shaking with excitement for us to take them with us. They've learned to ride in their crates in the van without carrying on--the first couple of trips the older one made noise the entire way...then it tapered until she's mostly quiet now.

Cinder and Nimble in x-pen at Kanaskat Palmer last August--taken by a vintage trailerite we met there.

7:30 every evening my guy scratches at the door to get in the trailer and climbs into his den under the bed.

Don't know how to attach pictures, but both Angel-Kittie and George- Kittie will get in to see what we're doing when we're cleaning it out the day after a trip.

Yuki-kittie sticks to his guard station on the house steps, and Roadkill-kittie isn't willing go outside the house if the temperature is over the low 80s*F. But they have all been better about short trips since we got back from the monthlong trip to Canada, where Yuki got outside twice. (almost giving us heart failure till he returned 24 hours later)
Their HUGE litter pan is under the bed, and they sleep with us....

Nice to hear about Cats on the Road. And your stories are always good, Mitzi.
