Where I live, the air is MUCH better. I was never in peril from the wildfires even though I have friends who needed to evacuate. The big fires in Oregon are less than 50% contained and most aren't expected to reach full containment until Oct. 31 or when the snow flies.
Let's keep those in harms way in California from the wildfires and those in the path of Tropical Storm Beta in our thoughts and prayers.
