As one person said "We all missed you! (You'd think that at least ONE of us would have better aim.....)"

donna---welcome back! and thanks to your honesty about why you "disappeared", perhaps everyone will "think twice and type once" in future.

Smile Welcome back Donna D

This forum, for me, really rotates around you.

I have benefited from your sisterly advice and have tried to follow it.

Saying that, even when trying to be nice, sometimes some other person will take umbrage at what you say. The secret is to not let it get to you. I well recall in my youth I tried to give someone a compliment and it was taken entirely the opposite way.

We all have different backgrounds, and apply those life experiences to what we perceive someone else is saying.

C'est la vie!

I'm new here. I have been "chastised" by you and appreciate it. (I brought a little politics into a conversation and BAM! you were on it!).

This is one of the most family friendly sites I've been on. I'm glad to have somewhere to go that leaves everything else behind!

Personally I think the real you is considerately more attractive than the avatar. Could it be because you're not wearing that hat? And isn't it interesting that some people think it's ok to be nasty in a forum but wouldn't dream of doing the same in person?

Welcome back, Donna. I just figured you were camping.

I guess, because I don't read all posts, I have not noticed the snarkiness. I did notice a nasty comment in the classifieds that I asked Kevin about and wanted to respond to. I am glad that someone is now monitoring that area.

I just hope no one sells to that person. Oops, that might be considered snarky. That was why I did not respond to begin with. One nasty comment begets another.

So, the rumor that you were selling the Scamp so you could move to Tahiti wasn't true. Good, I'm glad to hear it. Raz

I looked through the pictures of the NOG and found it interesting that the one good shot of Donna was at the beer exchange.

Hey Donna - We're new here and just got back from our first camping trip in our new-to-us 2000 Scamp '16, after being tent campers. All I can say is WOW! The Scamp experience is sooo cool and we can't wait to begin meeting other great people who share our enthusiasm for these cute little eggs. You are definitely one of them, so don't let a few "bad eggs" - pun intended - get you down!

Donna, Being one of the 'Favs' is a blessing and a curse. Hope we don't drive you too crazy, and please take a mental break whenever you need it. Thank you for all your time and your heart that you put into this forum.

When people are so passionate about something they may forget their manners. I am so glad you are back, we all missed you.
