dreaming of spring

I have spent a lot of time in the last few days thinking about spring and camping and NOT facing the cold. Right now we have a windchill reading of (shudder) -46C. Going outside makes my face hurt. This is getting a bit stale - someone send some warmth PLEASE!

I feel your pain Hazel. Time someone fires up the weather machine and blows that polar vortex back up north where it belongs. I am really starting to wonder what kind of spring and summer we are going to have after this brutle winter. The snow pile beside my driveway is 6 feet high and I have no more room to pile anymore we may still get before the melt. I hope the snow pile in front of my Boler melt before July so I can head to Macklin SK and then to St Malo in August for the MB Rally.

It HAS to warm up sometime - right? I hear you on the snow - we have drifts that go over the fence that is supposed to keep the dogs in the yard. At the moment that isn't a problem as the dogs have figured out that they don't WANT to go in the yard!

Here in Michigan, we have been riding the lower swing of that frigid weather. It was -15F yesterday morning on the last day of February. This has been a brutal winter.

Sending WARM thoughts to everyone that the flowers will soon be back!!

The cold I can handle, it is the constant snow that bothers me. I can't camp when I can't move.
