Rather interesting. I checked the Newfoundland Map since we just returned from there. They even had one of the two dump stations on Fogo Island listed. They did not include the provincial parks, all have dump stations.

Nice link thank you.

I don't know about the accuracy for yes the dump on our town is shown but it's about eight blocks from where it actually is.

I checked the one shown for Fogo Island and it's spot on.

Norm perhaps it's a default if they don't have exact address as they just show Centennial Park. For Emerson seems it's the same spot as if you google the town and that's off a bit about three blocks from town hall.

Information for my area seems accurate but incomplete. I notice there is a link to submit information about additional dump stations. I may try it out!

Seems like a very useful site (though not personally, since I don't have an onboard bathroom). Wondering how mobile-friendly the site is?

Thanks, Brian. I've bookmarked it. Could come in handy. The ones I checked for my state seemed accurate.

Thank-you, Brian. The map is a great resource.

On this same theme, I was recently refused the use of a dump station at the KOA in Spearfish, SD. The front desk person stated it was for registered guests only. She went on to say that a KOA somewhere had been forced clean up a situation where meth-lab users had dumped their toxic waste at a KOA dump station. She said that there would now be a national policy by KOA not to let non-guests use the dump stations. This was news to me, since I have done this in several KOA's around the country. Anyone else run into this "policy"? I suspect the lady was passing along another urban legend.

I have the app for Android on my Galaxy S3, there should be one for iPhone. It starts looking from your current location to 10 miles out and lets you expand the search area in 10 mile increments to 40 miles. I haven't had to use it yet maybe some one will comment about the mobile app and its accuracy.

I have that APP on my IPhone and in my area it was missing almost all of the dump stations. The APP will let you add new ones that are missing, so I added all the missing dump sights and it updated the missing ones almost immediately.

Here is another RV Dump website:
RV Dump Stations | Locate RV Dump Stations in America.

AllStays, the producer of my favorite campground finder app (Camp & RV) has a dump site app of the iPhone - RV Dumps. I don't see it listed for Android, however the Camp & RV version is available for Android & can be filtered for dump sites.
