Engineer Pass in a Scamp!!!

Yes, here is proof that you can stupidly take a Scamp over Engineer Pass in Colorado....and live to tell about it.

Norm,
Did you and Ginny have fun going over Engineer Pass?
I know that would be no problem for a Honda! HA!
Thanks for the link, because that is the only way that I will every see Engineer Pass!

Carl,

From what I read, there are two approaches to the road, one easier than the other by a fair margin. Unfortunately if there's one thing we've learned over our 14 years is that there is more to do and see than is possible, at least in fourteen years. Every section of the North America has it's wonders.

Thanks Chad. Those Scamps can go anywhere....

It certainly keeps us going anxious for the next corner.

Chad, if you had it to do over, would you do it again with the Scamp? Or without? (Or not at all?... I doubt that one, though.)

How long did it take you to go all the way around and back?

Most definitely without the Scamp! In my opinion, the signage was lacking, otherwise we never would have attempted it. It was 4 hours of white knuckle driving, probably 3 without it. A Ranger stopped us and said trailers were illegal, but the only sign we saw after we made it all the way down said that they were "not recommended". Ha, that's Colorado for ya!
