Thumbs up Eriba Puck lovers, take a look at this one!

Hi all,
I discovered a place called "Little Guy Trailers" in San Diego today. Scott and Eric were very knowledgeable and there's no hard sell. They carry a variety of different lightweight towables, such as T@B teardrops, Aliners, Cricket trailers, etc.

What caught my eye though, was a 900 lb. metal/fiberglass trailer patterned after the German-made Eriba Puck. The "Meerkat" is made in San Diego and is really sweet! Check out the websites below. They can be shipped or picked up, of course.

At only 900 pounds, almost any 4 cylinder could tow it.

Met Scott at a Vintage Trailer Rally/Gathering. Nice guy. The trailer is not a Eriba Puck but a nice copy. It's also smaller than a 13' Burro.

I believe the body is insulated aluminum and both the top and pop-top are fiberglass.
Sticker prices on the models were rangeing from 12,900 - 14, something. I would think there's room for negotiation there.

I am a teardrop owner and we just love ours. Last summer we spent 5 weeks camping in State and National Parks. It's a TC Teardrop make in Wausau WI. It weighs 900 lbs. and I thought I'd tow it with a Prius, however they have no tow rating and if there is warranty on the Prius, towing with it would void that warranty.

Your welcome, Cathy.
I thought a cute, 900 pound trailer such as the Meerkat would be a good choice for those with limited towing capabilities.

Small Galley with a big bed. Similar to a Little Joe camper but with a side entry. I'd like it better if it were all fiberglass but if it were, would it still weigh 900 lbs?? Thanks for sharing, Raz
