Hi Kathy! Escape came out about 2 or 3 months ago. The made a big buzz around here, not only for thier looks but for their size and layouts as well. Once again, our Canadian friends to the north have managed to come up with another great product!
And, repeating my earlier post on that subject... HEL-lo... how about some dealers for these great little rigs down here in the lower 48!!!

Escape trailer
I agree with you. These are great trailers. The only thing that I would miss is the shower. I think they are working on adding one.
If you don't need or want a shower then either unit would be great. I believe one has a toilet and one doesn't. Odd. I never thought I would even use my shower, but once that I started using it, I'd never be able to do without it.
The pictures are really nice. I love the woodwork.
So, you think you might just be the first Escape owner here on the board?

Escape Trailer
Not much chance of that right now. Maybe when the kids are grown I could splurge on a new FG TT. But hey, by that time there might be some used Escapes around. For now I'll have fun in my old 86 Burro.

another Mass Burro Owner
Kathy,
I can't believe there's another Burro owner in Massachusetts!:wave
I'm always looking for Burro information. How long have you had it? I just got mine recently and love to get info from other owners. Now that I have an "egg" I can't imagine having anything else.!:thumb

Burros in MA
Hi Sharyn,
I saw your post on Saturday under the Burro paperwork thread on the Problem Solving forum and left a reply.
I've had this one since last September and I do have some interesting information. There used to be a Burro dealership in MA.
I love my egg too although it does need some improvements.

Escape Update
Escape now offers a sitting shower option for $1000. They also now offer AC.
Since they are so new, they are open to providing whatever the owner wants in his/her new trailer as long as the request doesn't put them outside of whatever requirements/regulations they signed up for when they got licensed in Canada. (i.e. They are licensed to make a 17 foot trailer. So, adding extensions to the frame for cargo boxes, generator racks & etc are out if they extend the frame beyond 17 feet.) My guess is the reason they now have a trailer with a bath option is someone ordered one. Wonder what they'll do if someone orders dual axles with a hydraulic lifter? :conf
FYI: There are some new pictures on the Escape website - awning, shower side of trailer, new veneers and upholstery & etc.) They haven't posted a picture of the inside of their shower closet yet.

Kathy in mass
Hi Kathy,
Sorry I missed your other message. I'm in Brockton, MA. I'd love to see the paperwork that you have. I've actually had enough requests for the paperwork that I have that I'm thinking of trying to put it on a web page so that anyone could copy it. My Burro is in good shape, I am going to replace the carpet since mine has dark brown indoor/ outdoor carpet. I don't have a shower, but have the directions on how to put one in!

Sharyn,
Please do put up a web page. Paperwork is rare for our Burros.
I would especially be interested in the shower directions.
