You know the type, the one's that "tinker" with their set up for days before being satisfied? Like the type who dig out where their tire chocks are, or the one's who can't get that drain hose just right? The one's who move their rigs just a tad every so often hoping for it to be "perfectly level"? Have you seen them, are you one of them? Me, I am a newbie and may find that my style is detrimental some how, but some things just seem too uptight to be within the "relaxing" lifestyle that I thought we all sought. Hmmm, am I right or wrong? So far no major issues with my lack of tweeking for perfections...let me know if I am looking at disaster, or if I have figured out what true relaxing means...please

Sometimes people tinker to relax and I think its relaxing to watch them tinker. I may learn something by watching. To each his own.

You'll have to do it a few times, but eventually you'll become familiar with how to set up your trailer just the way you like it. When Lynne and I first started using our Scamp it'd take us the better part of an hour or more to set up and another hour or more to pack up. Now I think we can go either way in fifteen minutes if we're in a hurry.

NO! not a tinker person, No, not noticed any who did so much tinkering as you mentioned.
Yes, Monica, do it your way and enjoy. The perfectionests (sp?) are enjoying themselves as best they can (RE: Adrian Monk), but, perhaps, not relaxing as we define relaxing.

Edit PS: It took me a minute or two, to figure out what you were talking about. I had read the title of the topic as Ever encountered on of "those" Rivers, Or, ummm, are you one of them? Keep trying to find out what kind of RIVER.

But there have been studies showing how we fill in places to make words work when we quickly read, or leave out extra extra words to make a sentence work....but as in this care, it does not alway work out correct. Oh, no, am I tinkering too much. Sorry!

I first read it as RiVers also. Got my attention, though . Maybe a space between RV and ers.
On topic - I tinker before we leave and then... Work fascinates me, I can sit and watch it all day .
