Evolution of Egg Campers in Australia
In the late 1950's to early 1960's Fibreglass Egg Campers were part of the Australian Caravan Landscape. US saw its first Egg Campers in the mid 1970's
A well known Australian one is SunLiner popular in the 1960's

The first two appear molded, but the last does not.

It is a all composite Caravan with a metal Chassis, no wood. Moulded Caravans went out of fashion. karakamper and some smaller RV's are Moulded, but that is that, bulk of the non wood and tin are true composites, including an all Carbon Fibre model

Another Egg Camper from the early 1960's in Australia. I notice that a Stick and Tin Caravan manufacturer still has their originals running around they are Evernew Caravans and started in 1963

Nice trailers, if only they didn't drive on the wrong side of the road, lol.

Yes very much so. It is a caption in time, it existed 60yrs ago.. There are many that much better than the Oliver. We have some very cutting edge designs and materials. Electronics going to Thor Industries. An Electric Caravan that is being launced that helps the Tow vehicle move the vehicle along. Many RV's are now conposite structures. Wood is dying out.
