Exact bed length and width of 13' Scamp?

Can someone please tell me what are the exact dimensions of the bed in a 13' Scamp. The interior width is given as 6'6" but I assume the bed length is less. The width is not given. I ask the question here as the Scamp people are not fast on email

About 74"-76" length, the wdith is 43" on a std and the big bed is 54" wide. They are now taking deposits for June delivery of the 13 std big bed model.

Thank you very much. I saw no reference in their site to a wider bed as an option or perhaps I missed it

The wider bed is only an option when you get the Deluxe, which is the all wood interior.

Keep in mind that the Deluxe wood interior is heavier than the standard. My husband and I are average height and build in our 60s. We find the standard bed in our 13' Scamp to be cozy yet very comfortable when set up with our bedding solution (see photos). Contact me offline for details if you like as I have posted this bedding option many times.
Happy Camping!
Gilda

Floyd put out the word a couple of weeks ago about the big bed S13 std. I called them and they said they would start delivering them in June. At the present there is no price increase but I'm sure with gas prices they all will go up. You can send them $500. and get on the delivery list. It's about $3K cheaper than a delux for the big bed. They said at the present the S16 std's will stay with the 43" beds.

Hello Gilda,
We are new Scamp 13' owners and in the midst of preparing our "maiden voyage". I saw the photos of your bedding set up and would love to find out more. I've only used this forum a couple of times and don't know if I'm missing something.....how do I contact you offline?
thanks,
Leslie

Go to Gilda's post and click on her name in blue and then click on personal message. You can exchange contact info. this way. If the little dot in the left lower corner of her post is green she is on line if gray she is not on line but will be notified of your P.M. when she logs on.
Oh Welcome Leslie.

I'm 6'1" and I just fit on the wide (inboard) side of the bed, I don't fit on the rear window side due to the curve in the walls.

Gilda if you could post a link to a a more detailed description of your bedding that would be really useful, and appreciated. Especially the pad material and construction.
