Since they are selling fast, I think market value must be about $10k more than you thought. Have you looked for a new car lately? Forget rebates and incentives, if you can get one at MSRP you have done well. Many car dealers have added a second sticker with dealer markup as a line item.

Recently ordered a new car for my wife. Paying MSRP but had to order with a 20 week lead time!

I could use a née truck but it’s not happening until car supply normalizes which could be 18 months or more. Both of our vehicles are 12 years old, hers has the highest mileage (~200,000 miles).

motorhome

Well I am still shopping. I tried to buy two so far. One in Canada ( could not get it done because I could not get across border)and the other the seller failed to disclose issues and then when found they just said buy it that way or not so I chose the not. Prices seem to be stabilizing and should move down on motorhomes due to lack of demand. Hard to find certain ones.
As far as a new vehicles go I am good so have not been shopping them. I have an older Honda with near 250K.I use that for a run around town car and I am happy there.

Getting to the age where the next car could be the last. After decades of always buying used, decided this one will be new. Last new car purchased 1978…

new car

We have only ever bought one new one which is a Honda pilot we purchased 3 years ago. Lots of nice things about a new car but their safety systems are a pain thou.

As the baby boomers reach retirement age the more crowded the recreation areas will become. RV travel will follow suit
