Just when I thought that it was safe to go to my local farm and barn store.

Cute cover, but somehow I can also see it as being an attractive "kid magnet" that won't be there for very long. A good old fashioned tennis ball with a hole and an "X" cross cut in it works well, and the only one who I can think of that might want it is the neighbor's dog. Fetch Fido!

I never cover or grease a ball. If I want lube, I use a piece of Waxed paper folded twice. (4 layers thick)

Cute cover, but yes, it could easily become a squeeze toy. I can just hear some little kid coming into camp saying, Look what I found mommy:-(
We use the Fastway hitchball cover with tether. It is always there when needed and even survives the car wash! And yes, we grease our balls! Always have LOL!

On Amazon too
Bought one of those on Amazon this spring. Doesn’t come off very easy - our toddler spins it around but can’t get it off, so no worries about that!
