Finally

Got away from Michigan and am now at Picacho Peak rv park in Arizona waiting to pick up my son at the Mesa airport on Sunday. After dropping him off back at the airport on Jan 12, I'll head to Camp Verde for an extended stay. First winter away without my wife. Finally coming out of my funk about her passing. Many thanks to the many folks here who have been supportive.

Bob, we were at picacho st park last m, t, w. Warm days, cool nites. Prior was at dead horse for 3 nites ...warm days but a little below freezing at nite...hosts suggested unhooking water at nite. Now at catalina st. Pk....warmer days, mid to low 40's at nite. Heading toward patagonia st pk on sunday, then work way over to big bend for a rally mid-jan. Enjoy your trip....have seen fiber glass at all sites. Imogene

Thanks Imogene. My late wife and I have spent 17 winters in AZ with about 10 of them at Camp Verde so I'm well aware. Have also stayed at Dead Horse Ranch. Nice park. Enjoy your adventuring.

Hey, if you are around Quartzsite between Jan. 18-26 there is the RV show. You can camp on BLM. Then Feb. 7-9 is the Fiberglass gathering in Quartzsite, also on BLM. Check it out on this group. You would certainly be more than welcome by all.

Howdy Bob, have not been on the forum to see any posts from you in awhile. Good to know your OK and getting away from this bleeping cold here in Mich.

BTW - Are these the chairs you had at the Algonac rally?
Strongback Chairs — STRONGBACK Elite: Navy & Black

I can't get over how the numb/painful sensation in my leg from the pinched nerve in my back faded when I sat in your chair, looking to pick up one for myself and at that price I don't want to purchase the wrong one.

Betcha it is that chair, Roger. I bought the smaller one (I'm only 5' 1" tall) for a pinched nerve in lower back that sometimes results in sciatica pain. This chair cannot be beat for relieving low back pressure/pain. Expensive but, for me, worth every penny.

I'm so glad to hear that you're beginning to feel better. Have a wonderful stay in the 'warm' because here it Michigan, we are in the DEEP FREEZE!!

I have bad news for Cheryl I may well put that thing in the living room design theme and color scheme be damned. If it's ugly but I'm comfortable I can live with that, and not listening to me grumble is probably a selling point for her.

It was pretty nice I could literally feel normal sensation return to one part of leg, and pain fade from another part. Normally that requires prescription drugs.

I sold our large all wood kitchen table and chairs and now we have
a plastic picnic table. Works for us in spite of the wonderment and
complaints from others.

If it works for you, it works.
