So I drive carefully up the curb entrance making sure to swing wide so as not to clip the edge or block any traffic, then I scan the back acres of blacktop looking hopefully for an aligned double space, and when I find it I swing very deep and wide before I crank it in hard to line up with the painted stripe perfectly... pulling nicely forward in the front space so the the trailer fits perfectly in the space behind me.
Turn off the engine.
Get out and lock the truck.
Only then do I see I am not pulling any damn trailer!
I have been driving like this since I got back.
I must seek help.

Hi: ronsmith100... Trouble with fiberglass trailers is it "Doesn't feel like you're towing anything" and sometimes you're NOT!!!

When we bought our Scamp 5th wheel we also had to find a pickup truck to pull it, so we bought an used Ford Ranger that generally just sits in the driveway when we're not taking the trailer places. When I drive the Ranger I sort of automatically steer wide, cut hard, use the side mirrors, and give myself lots of extra room to merge.
