First Time Storing of Scamp

Here in Fargo there is a deal where you can store your camper, boat etc for the winter season in one of the quonset buildings at the fairgrounds. I was wondering if it is a good idea to leave the roof vent open a little for ventelation. I saw I should put some fabric sofnter sheets around to keep mice/moths away. Any other suggestions? It won't be for a few months but I thought I would ask.

When I store mine inside, I leave the roof vent open about 1" and I open the side windows. Make sure your door seals tight to keep mice out. I also place a few traps under the trailer and in the trailer.DON"T use mothballs.

You might as well leave the door wide open... A mouse an get into ANYTHING! My advice is to leave some good ol' snap traps around. Set them against the walls with the dangerous end facing the wall. Mice like to run next to walls. Get ALL traces of food out of the camper. Even if there is no food mice may like to hang out in your trailer. They love to get into our class A RV. They bring in seeds and eat them there, leaving lots of seed pods and poop. They also like to chew on water lines. Nothing but trouble.
