We cook almost everything, even at home on the stove and the BBQ, so you can imagine our surprise when we arrived at our destination last weekend and discovered the Weber Q didn't come with us.
I had just completed removing the
Scamp stove in a remodel so we just had our Coleman, a pile of wood and a fire ring with a grate type setup. It had been a number of years since I had cooked over the ol open flame and we ended up rediscovering camp-fire cooking and had some of the best meals in a long time. We liked the coal roasted potatoes, corn and fire grilled meats so much we'll probably do some fire grillin in the future. Aside from the Dutch oven thingies anyone else still practicing the fine art of camp fire cooking?
