Frost Warnings again tonight in MN

For those of you that are heading to Minnesota for the Egg Fest, make sure you bring lots of warm clothes. One day it's in the 70's, and now we have frost warnings again tonight. No happy inbetween for us up here.

Wow! We were 99 degrees today, no chance of Frost at all. Ha! But we had a chance of rain which hadn't happen in several months.....got a few drops and some thunder as well. I am sure you will be wishing for a little cool pretty soon as well. It was 101 in Deming today.

We are headed your way tomorrow on our way to Mount Rushmore. Hmmm, been a long hard winter for us here and really not looking forward to freezing over my vacation.

As long as you're going to be at Mt. Rushmore, don't miss the Crazy Horse Memorial carving, either. The museum is outstanding and the mountain carving is slowly making progress. Crazy Horse is about 25 minutes south of Mt. Rushmore, just north of Custer, S.D.

Interesting weather this year. Here it is June and still raining in No. Cal. Even tornado warnings which is unusual for us. Also there was nickel to quarter sized hail near Sacramento, that's really unusual.

Supposed to rain this weekend . Our passes through the Sierra's are still closed as about a foot of snow drops with these weekly storms. The passes near Tahoe, which are lower, remain open.

Sorry folks but the storm yesterday and the one coming this weekend will be east shortly. Bundle up!!

The coldest spring on record in 50 years here in the lower mainland of BC. Have not even potted my flower planters yet.

I've had 3 digit highs most of the week and it rained Tuesday night for the first time since July or August of last year.
