bounderies

jon thanks I make no posts running people down except maybe myself, I make no posts bellitting people, my spelling is terrible, my grammer is awful. I do know some stuff, I learn some stuff while at it I have a good time. I know where the ignore button is I have it on a couple of posters no big deal!

I am not a banker or an attorney or some of the other serious trades. As I read the header on chat it says it is not serious. I learn from you! I learn from the others critical of me even thought they cannot understand that! I get p/ms from them belittling me no big deal.

you have to remember I am 75 and sort of weird!!

best regards

bob

oh I am never getting on facebook if you want it good for you and yes there are no bounderies!!! I do not want that ever!

Hello, bob,

While we can put any thread you post on "on ignore," we cannot put YOU on ignore like one can on YouTube. So while it's a kind offer, it's not available on FGRV.

Nor can we give thumbs-up or thumbs-down, either, which I miss being able to do. Even YouTube doesn't let you thumbs-down anymore, anyway, which was enjoyable at times.

I wonder--how old are you?

BEST
Kai

Ignoring an user alone looks like this. It would be preferable if there was no mention at all of an ignored user but it does not work that way.

You can ignore posts from any member, but would end up with it looking like Gordon posted. Just go to the members page, and click this link.

gordon2 and Jim Bennett:

Thanks for the info! Hadn't noticed a way to ignore someone, not that I've needed to.

Now I know it can be done.

Just in case.

Ed Harris,

I know, right?

That works pretty well. And no one else knows.

The problem with 'Ignore' is you get a notification that the person you are 'ignoring' has posted. And, then you see responses from others to whatever was posted, but you don't know what they are talking about.
The best 'Ignore' is not to respond.

Over 500 now Bobby.. Keep going and you WILL break the record! Good luck!

Heck at this rate the forum might need to be renamed the k0wtx fiberglass rv forum!

Just checked for new posts and I see you are working hard on that record:

Only 75? You’re a kid. I’m 81 and just got back with my girlfriend from the Blue Ridge Parkway (terrible weather), Tennessee, Kentucky, etc. Stopped in Rabbit Hash, KY this morning. Skipped Sugartit.

You're pretty funny. My partner will be 75 next week and he never says anything about it to anyone. He simply does not care how old he is, it is unimportant to him, therefore not a subject of his conversations. I like that about him.

I came to this forum seeking information about fiberglass campers. I stayed because I enjoyed the group. Lots of good folks with the occasional crank just to add color. If you need to use the ignor option it might be time to walk away. You're taking this much too serious.

Bob, I'm not 75, yet. But when I catch up to you I'll let you know. Raz

Ditto all you said in your original post and I'm only 62. Nephew was going through my, now deceiced mothers box of cards and things and found a report card of mine from the early 60's and started to laugh.
When asked what was so funny, he replied that he held an old report card of mine and even in the 3rd grade the teacher wrote a note saying my spelling was bad and I needed more work on it.
Now 50 years later....I still need work, but it's all good.

Gerry

My best friend who was loaded by the way was the best electrician I ever saw in the 20s and 30s he helped design el. plants. The big el. engineers would fly in there and all of a sudden they hit a wall. A problem they just couldn't figure out such as shunts on meters they had never heard of this?

Poor Leo only had a 3rd grade education he and I would get on the same ham band frequency and he would start on that and those guys would get so mad. More resentment and hate I never saw anything just like it.

I still hear for a few of those the mere mention of Leo sends them into a tantrum. I just don't get it!

Now I get p/ms about my grammer, my spelling and now I am a moocher? Oh did I say I am 75? I get p/ms about that one too!

I have never in my life initiated a p/m on a board to anyone!

life marches on
