Gasket troubles, bath vent

Iritating problem in my bath vent..the tubular gasket under the lid has slipped loose & I cannot fully close the lid (slides up and down from inside the bath) What kind of adhesive wd be best to re-glue it??

I didn't glue my gasket but I replaced it. It had slipped - like yours - and creased when I closed it. So I bought gasket material at the hardware store and replaced it. Easy to do - just need a ladder, scissors and a screwdriver.
