I have two Honda 2000s that I bought back in 2002. One has almost 2000 hrs. and the other is 600. Until I bought the Casita, we had larger A/C and needed to hook them together. You can see by the number of hrs. that we only used one most of the time but it was nice to have the second one just in case. Some have probably read my story about dragging one of them about 100' across the parking lot one night about 12 yrs. ago. I had forgotten that I chained it to the truck and headed out for town. It was battered and smoking like crazy by the time I figured out what was going on. And it was still running. Checked the oil and all was well and still going to this day. Love my Hondas.

You could get one of the older Sharp half pint carousel microwaves. They only use 600 watts. Of course you do need to remember it will take twice the time to zap your food to hot as does a 1200 watt. Same amount of power needed to heat the food but I can run it on my Honda i1000 generator.

I found the one I got for my travel trailer locally on craigslist. But I had bought one new years ago when I was in a tiny apartment with only a closet sized kitchen. The ones with the digital display are nice little microwaves even if they are low powered.
