Giving Thanks on Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a good time of year to express your thanks for things that you appreciate. I have been a member of this forum for many years and I am thankful for all of the information and ideas that I have received here. I read and enjoy the information here daily and try to contribute when I can. I would like to also extend a special thanks to the people that administer and make this forum possible.

Happy Thanksgiving

Larry Clift aka Beetlefreak

As I've mentioned elsewhere on the WWW. I feel blessed and stressed, but thankful none the less.

We should be all thankful for what we now have and not always worry about what we want in the future.

As I did on our Thanksgiving last month---and do again today as Americans celebrate---I give thanks for ALL of the wonderful friends that my husband Dennis and I have met thru this terrific forum.

Our lives have been enriched and blessed by being able to count them as friends.

Happy Thanksgiving!

My Scamp, vehicles, house, job are all "extras" I have to be thankful for... but first and foremost I'm thankful for my Church AND Family. Without either, the first mentioned items would mean NOTHING to me.

Verse For the Day...

You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion , and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Incredible kindness of strangers!

I will be forever be thankful to the
family that on the worst day of
their lives gave me the gift of life.
God bless the organ donor and his
family that gave me his heart so that
I may live. I think of him everyday.
PLEASE register to be an organ donor.
IT SAVES LIVES. Thank you and Happy
Thanksgiving to everyone .

I guess us Maine'ers just about all think alike (from a certain generation I guess) My friends always ask...How do you do it, meaning afford it, just working when you want...and vacationing 7 months of the year...my moto is. "It's not what you make...it's what you spend".

Here's hoping you all had an abundant Thanksgiving, whatever abundance means to you, and wishing you a wonderful upcoming holiday season.
