Wow! Alaska! If my husband were able to take off right now, I think I'd insist upon joining you. It would be a caravan of caravans!

Thanks for the pronunciation. I always wondered about that. No wonder I have such a hard time with Athabaskan languages, English is hard enough. Would you care to help me with Tsiigehtchic? Got my tongue in a knot just trying it. Thankfully, the old name, Arctic Red River, is still acceptable. And, what about “Liard”? After three trips, I still haven’t got that one right.

This summer- our long trip that requires time off of work will be to go visit a daughter and son in law that moved to Virginia.

I sure wish Hubby could get MONTHS off! He's got a ways to go before he can retire!

We live in Terrace, BC and are heading up Highway 37 from Kitwanga, BC on the 2nd or 3rd of July. We're a convoy of an Escape and Red/White Boler, both vehicles pulled by mini-vans. We're heading to Whitehorse, then on to Fairbanks, down to Anchorage and then back the same way. We'll be looking out for all other fiberglass trailers on the road. Hope we meet up with some of you.
