Going to Winnipeg

So I did it! I made my reservation for the Boler extravaganza. Have you ever come running into 3rd base and wondered if you touched 1st. I have. That's kind of how I feel right now. I see the end in sight for the restoration project and am second guessing some of my decisions. I intend to hold off on things like the awning so I can see what others have done. I hope it holds up... If not my only vehicle is an F250 so I don't think I even need tires on that Boler to drag it there. I looking forward to seeing and meeting those who I have talked to as well as all those I have read about. My thought is to look into hooking up with some here heading up around Chicago and then taking my time on the trek home through Michigan's UP. Camp, kayak.... Soooo, when you are traveling and you see a guy on the side of the road looking a bit out of sorts be kind. It could be me

We'll see you there, Rick.

You're coming to Canada, maybe a set of skis might work on the trailer.

There are all kinds of routes being set up for group travel.

Nothing like the biggest rally ever planed to give you incentive. Not sure where in Michigan you are located but I will be hopping to plan a caravan route out of the Happier Camper office in Detroit in the the next few weeks ,not sure yet of taking the west route through Chicago or through the UP. Will post soon.

I’m thinking the UP route, coming from south of Jackson, MI.
Took the Chicago route to pickup camper last Sept. in MB.
What a boring trip.

That is awesome Rick, looking forward to meeting you.
You may be one of the lucky participants who wins one of the Shady Boy awnings at the event. Shady Boy has generously donated 2 awnings that we will be giving away. Good luck

I just looked at the Shady Boy awnings. Those look very nice! Clean, I like that. Something ready made has its appeal to me now.
