Good Upholsterer in LowerMainland/FraserValley?

Decided that I'd like to get the Bolers cushions professionally redone (as in heavy duty fabric, piping, zippers, vinylbacked etc) - Can anyone recommend someone reliable and reasonable to me? I'm in Surrey BC but obviously anyone/business in LowerMainland or FraserValley would work great. Thanks thanks!

For my simple square cushions on the dinette i used slipcover.com they were reasonable and did a nice job. Didn't take too long either.

Alli, there is a party in Port Moody that makes cushion covers for Bolers and her price is very good. Having done mine myself I can say you would be hard pressed to make them for what she charges. She brought some out to a rally last year and they are well done.

Her website i is here

We used Harts Upholstry over in Abby. Auto upholstry is their 'thing' and ours is done on the heavy duty scale, because I hate to have to re-do something over gain because it wore out, LOL!!! You might find them pricie (because they do good work??), but give them a call....

Ours was pricie mainly because of the cost (at that time) and quality of the foam which in the corners had to be built up (and is in some spots almost a foot thick) to fabricate a 'sofa' seat for us in the front of the Trillium.

Alli, the person in Port Moody does this on the side so you may not hear from her until later today.

Thumbs up boler cushions recovered - finally!

got our cushions recovered in sweet 70's style to suit our boler and we are very happy with them. got a very good price by reusing the existing vinyl (which was in great shape) and the foam (which was bought a few years ago by PO's but also in great shape)... we went with a local (Surrey BC) guy instead of going with any alternate that might send away to get the pieces done instead of actually creating them locally as one might assume. i can't believe how hard it was to find someone reliable and professional (who didn't want an arm and a leg) to recover trailer cushions! anyways, if anyone out our way needs this done we'd recommend jans upholstery in north surrey

Looks good. By chance are you going to be at the Nor-west egg meet this weekend. Would like a closer look. Also do you mind me asking the cost? PM me if you prefer.

where is the meetup mark? we are newbies and aren't really in the loop - our girl still needs some work and we are shy folks so i don't know we'd ever do a meetup but it would definitely be neat to see everyone elses eggs

Alli, this meet is in Mission, BC. There are about 62 trailers signed up for this meet and it's a lot of fun. I haven't got my trailer fixed up yet either but that doesn't matter. Come out for the fun and ideas that you will get from like minded people. You can join in as much or as little as you feel comfortable doing. Marina

Yes come I was hesitant at first too. Mine's a fixer upper and still very much in the "needing" stages. If your within ten feet you can see the brush strokes from the hand painted with house paint paint job I think some people might have paint jobs worth more than my tug and trailer combined. But! everyone is so welcoming. I'm also borderline introvert/extrovert. Love to be social but then need my recoup time. I figure the whole trailer concept is great for that. If you can't get the trailer out come for an afternoon.

Cheers,
Mark
