Goodbye to our camping companion!

Our little dog Oliver died yesterday.

He camped with us in British Columbia, Washington and Oregon including two Oregon Gatherings and two NOGs.

We feel blessed that we had ten years with him, but are feeling the loss right now.

Deepest sympathies to you both. He had such soulful eyes and obviously a playful nature.

Well that really sux, sorry for your loss. I lost a dog pound dog several years ago, she (Baby) went everywhere I went in the semi truck and when she passed away I cried like a baby.

Go out and get a rescue dog, they seem to appreciate their owners more and they will help make your loss more pleasant.

Lost our Beagle Basset dog named Willow last Tuesday

She loved to camp, though tended to "hog" the double bed we slept in; we sure do miss her.

We adopted a rescue dog- a female Beagle-Jack Russell mix- we adopted our new dog 7 days after we lost Willow; her first camping trip in our Burro is next Thursday~

Brian & Maria,

So sorry for your loss. They are not with us long enough, but leave us with lifelong memories.

Thank you for those wonderful pictures of Oliver. What a handsome fellow!

He obviously had a great life and was loved by everyone!

Take care ...

I just want to come down some morning and find Sadie peacefully silent on her bed. I have to say sadly her passing will be the hardest as she has been a constant companion with us.

So sad to hear of the loss of your camping buddy.

Looking at Oliver's pictures and reading Sarah's tribute definitely tugged the heart.

Here's to Oliver and the adventures y'all shared.

Josie & Craig, fellow dog campers.
