If running the Maxxis tires with E rating one would want to make sure your rims can handle them. Just a thought

That's true, but an ST tire only has to meet the minimum 65 MPH ST rating. Any higher ratings and certifications can be considered "icing on the cake".

One thing to remember, when tires are used in a tandem axle setup, the maximum load capacity is normally reduced, so it's not as simple as just multiplying the maximum single capacity by four to get the total load capacity.

Example, the 2150 max single load on our trailers Carlisle tires are lowered to a max dual load of 1870 lbs on our tandem axle, per load info printed on the sidewall.

I love them

I will always buy those tires. I am in my second pair on my 93 Casita and they have performed well.

X2
I like the ride they give the Escape
Sidewall strength seems very good.
Second set here too.
Price seems reasonable for good tires under a valuable trailer.
