Google

It's amazing that you can see something every day and not really see it. This is a world wide problem. As we travel about we try to take the time to see better, (though our vision is weakening),

I have been looking at the word Google for at least a decade. I use Google every day, lots of time. Today I recognized that the word can be broken into two words: Go Ogle. Certainly, outside of governments and maybe including governments, they are a large collector of information about you and me.

Seeing what's before you is difficult sometimes, particularly in the blur of busy lives. Slow travel helps, giving more time for reflection.

You're so right Norm. Sometimes we need to see with our heart and mind, in order to see what has always been in front of us.
Google's collection of information can be seen as good or bad. In order for us to find answers and make our lives better, Google has to collect the information.
Like anything else, how the information collected is used depends on the individual.
Happy Camping
Marky!

Norm, I never thought about that before. That's basically what I would assume most people use Google for at this point.
Originally the name Google came about based on this;
Googolplex - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
They even call their headquarters the "Googleplex" as a play on the word. Originally a Stanford University school project, the idea was to create a web crawling search system that would turn up a "googol" of results that were ranked intelligently.
