Cleaning in the camper today. Windows and door open... New tabs are put on. I have the camping itch so bad I can't stand it...... I want to go!

We know that feeling too.

Changed the oil and filter in the car today and did a service check on the rest of the vehicle. The trailer will get the once over tomorrow. It won't we long before we hit the road.

I'm itching too. I'm still not finished with my to-do list of items I thought necessary before taking the Scamp on the road. I work best under pressure, so I made a reservation last week at a state campground for next month. That gives me a completion date that I must achieve. I won't have EVERYTHING done, but the items esential to being road worthy will be done. That will be the mainden voyage. Can't wait.

Who said you have to leave the driveway to go camping?

I did! With 8 friends who were camping in teardrop trailers at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park near Onamia MN.
The little piles of white are what was left of winter/spring snows. We set up our "gypsy tent" and had my propane firepit to keep us warm and dry. Yes, it rained Friday night and most of Saturday. Sunday was sunny and warm, of course!
The others were a little envious that I had a nice, warm, dry place to stand, dress, and prepare my meals.

Purchasing insurance (for the year) tomorrow partly in preperation for possible flood evacuation from the complex here and more so, in prep for a month long tour of Vancouver Island way off in July...
