We are on our way back home to IL
. We tried to book our same campground for next Xmas before we left but were told that snowbirds get first chance and that we could not book until September. We booked it earlier this year (spoke to the hubby manager at that time instead of the wife this time).
The campground was tight, but I am returning with just a couple of noseeum bites. It was away from the water, so not so many. Plus the new camper made it comfy to stay inside when the bugs were out.
If noseeums don't bother you (They never bit my husband.), the KOA we stayed at before was nice and seemed to be fairly easy to get reservations. It is the Naples-Marco Island KOA. I cannot speak for the Keys.
