Heading Out West!!

So my wife and I finally quit our jobs and our heading out with our U-haul CT. We have been planning this trip for over a year now and leave tomorrow morning for about 2 months. Were from Cincinnati so well be heading down south to Gulf Shores, AL then heading out west from there hitting places like New Orleans, Baton Rouge, San Antonio, EVERYTHING on the Arizona/Utah border, Las Vegas, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Denver, and plenty of places in between.. Thanks to all the people on our that have helped me with getting the camper ready and all the great posts/info on this site.

We started a blog the other day and will be updating that from time to time.
our trip out west

Take care and happy camping!

We didn't like New Orleans, missed getting into the Alamo in San Antonio because we got there too late in the day. Found New Mexico interesting, you can see replicas of the first atomic bombs at Los Alamos. Still want to get to the Grand Canyon and back to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse monument, haven't been to them since 1962. Look for Blue Bell ice cream while in Texas, it's made in Brenham TX where my sister lives.

Hey Ken, yes we made it home after some crazy snow storms in Denver. We are done traveling for a while now ready to start the family.... After Out West we went backpacking in Europe for a month and have since sold our camper to a good home. Thanks for following the blog, I'm glad people enjoyed it!

I enjoyed your blog. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Had I known you were coming I would have given you a private tour of my hometown, SF!
Have a great life!
