HELP*****Apeco Small World.

I hadn't, but others have. I typed "Apeco" into the "Site Search/Google" (bottom of the search menu) and got a number of hits on the forum. That's the best place to start your research.

Is that yours in the photo? We'd love to hear the story of how it came to you!

to FiberglassRV Lisa. You're actually the third member who has an Apeco. But as you can see, the other two haven't been around for a while.

That's kind of cool! I'd also like to hear more about it. I'm always looking for another project.

How it came to be

My Story is a book. Have a seat

* Decided I wanted a Mobile Bar Business 03/19
* Went to purchase inside display Camper at Akron OH Store
* Left w/two. 1956 SportCraft & 1968 Serro Scotty Hilander
* Neither worked. 1 was too tapered, 1 had step ups on floor
* Spent 1 year educating how to Redo Vintage Campers
* Purchased Shasta Airflyte, flipped it made $1,200
* Found dead overcab on back road in Ohio. Titled-Rescued
* Found vintage Mustang in back of field Ohio. RESCUED
****It was clear Vintage Camper Hoarding is a sickness****
*Found (by accident) 1970 Holiday Rambler. Rescued
*Found 1971 Aristocrat Lo-Liner before going to salvage yard
*2 weeks ago went Trout fishing in WV. Searched every city on Marketplace we came near. Saw Apeco while driving home. My better half HATED IT. I Forgot about it
* Went fishing this weekend. APECO came up again
* I Msg the owner. Did research...thought many hours
* purchased it today. Not nervous. My dad had kit cars and he knows fiberglass IM CLUELESS
MY GUT...THAT 6TH SENSE I HAD TO HAVE IT

Even the RV Hall of fame never heard of it
It needs a lot of work but I knew I had to have it .
I knew I had to have it

Its Rare, its unusual, and it will be a challenge

End of story

Well always nice to know no one else is going to show up and park next to you wearing the same "outfit". That and you get to meet lots of interesting people over the opening line of "what is THAT?"

Good luck and be sure to post what you find out. Pictures of what it is like inside or an entire thread on your "project" to rescue it are all welcome.

Actually that's not the end of the story

I snuck out this morning MaY 19th @ 7:00 a.m. and drove 3 hours away to look at the APECO. My better half Was aware I was going to look at it but not happy

I SPENT 2.5 hours looking over it (in the rain)
I looked 1x, 2x, 3x .... it needs a lot of work. Im up for the challenge. SERIOUS RESEARCH ON HOW TO FIX 5 SMALL PINHOLES IN FIBERGLASS

So I haven't been looking for this camper my entire life.
But once I saw it I knew I had to have it My better half is not happy. It's been a quiet day..but I know this little Gem needs life breathed back into her...and im gonna do it

You may have forgotten to mention, or I just didn't see any mention of it, is your "better half" happy?

BTW, did you get the wheel covers/side panels with it?
How are the front window panels? Are they in good condition?

That trailer has a lot of potential and will definitely be unique at the rallies. Great view out the front. What kind of suspension does it have?

Better half is NOT HAPPY. ITS BEEN A quiet day. He says he is not, but its clear

He underestimates me. I have more tools than most men.
He needs to trust me on this. I have a picture in my head what this will look like

Leaf Springs. They seem a bit sagging.
