Trailer: Quantum-5 5th Wheel 1980
Posts: 176
You would think one egg would be plenty but today I just bought another one. I have just about finished the Fiber Stream and this weekend it goea out on her maiden outing to Mexico for a week. Well this all sounds fine but on a back road about three miles from here I saw a seventeen foot Quantum fifth wheel just sitting in a small field next to an old house. Drove past it aboout a mile and couldn'tstand it sooooooo hung a U turn and went back and knocked on the door. Just my luck he wanted to sell it. It seemes to be in good shape and all appliances worked, It has new air, battery wheels and bearings. Main problem I saw was the interior upolistry needs to be redone.

I have no idea what Im going to do with it but its mine now and I have lots of time to deciide.

I figured if one egg was good then two must be better. As soon as i figure out how to post pictures I will try to get some on the site.

Funny how that happens... welcome to the More-than-One Club! You'll find the company in this group to be excellent!

Congrats on your find... especially having two rare and very special trailers!

Wow! another Quantum, I just purchased Harold Deans Quantum, the one shown in Photo Album and makes me a two trailer owner as well.

This makes three FGRV members with Quantums!

Looking forward to pictures!

Will be camping on the Cal side in Winterhaven near the Arizona border. The reason for the trip is to check out the Stream and get some much needed dentall work done. Two birds with one stone.

Ah, Algodones---snowbird Rx, Dental, and Optical heaven. It is an interesting place---and the food is also good.

Congratulations Ron. It is important that these fiberglass trailers, especially the rare ones like you've gotten be adopted and looked after.

We got our last dog from a terrior rescue shelter and I think we could use this same model for fiberglass trailers. Abused, neglected and/or unwanted trailers should be saved. Perhaps we could set up a foster program as well. I would love to foster that Quantum 5th wheel for a while !!! (LOL)

Good luck with the fiberstream in Mexico.

Took some pictures of the new Quantum but can't get them sized right to post. If anyone can size them for me and post them send me an email address and I will send them to you. These d#$n electronic cameras and computers just are not my cup of tea.
