Highway 6 BC condition?

Hey out there!
We're planning a trip over the Monashee Pass east of Vernon BC in June. We are headed to the Penticton Beach Cruise with our boler and Comet.
I haven't been that way in a while and and a neighbour was saying the road was pretty rough the last time he traveled over it.

Thanks Glenn, yes I realize that info is available.
I was hoping to hear from someone who has driven that highway lately to find out if it's been repaved lately, full of frost heaves, potholes etc.
That info I don't know how to search for.

Many moons ago used to haul logs down HWY 6, and even longer ago had a GF who lived in Edgewood, so used to tour over there quite often. I towed a 20' fifth wheel from the top of the Monashees down the Kettle valley & that is a grand trip, lots of places to camp along the road.

Thanks so much Daniel, just what I was hoping to hear!!
My hot rod is really low and pulling the boler just makes it more.
Didn't want to run out #3 from Creston over some of the biggest passes in Canada and going up to #1 is a lot of extra mileage at almost 2 bucks a liter for premium.
Plus #6 is a beautiful drive.

They have started prep work to move the single lane bridge no idea how long that will take but the road is fine. I drove it twice at night and twice in daytime in April.

You had to give my Dad's Mercedes 190D a week notice to pass another car.

My 300D has a turbo, so when you use the loud pedal it leaves.
Sadly tho' we do not use the car any more, and are going to sell it.
