0 degrees and lots of snow here in northern MN. Looked at the nice new home page picture of not frozen water and leaves on the trees, but something seems wrong to me.

Isn't Boardman near Brookings on the southern coast? So what is the name of the park on the Columbia in north OR?

We missed this park as every time we drive past that area it has been too hot to stop.

Boardman is on the Columbia River in Morrow County, which is in Eastern Oregon near Hermiston and Pendleton. Faaaaaar, faaaar away from Brookings on the Souther Oregon Coast.

Samuel H. Boardman State Park is located on the Oregon Coast 4 miles north of Brookings.

I'm still trying find information on "Boradman Park" on the Columbia River. It doesn't appear that it's a state park.

Thanks everyone. Bordman State Park is south, and Boardman Marina Park is north. I'll just sit looking at the frozen river and dream about both. Maybe someday going west we will get to the Marina one, provided we hit the area when it isn't too hot.

Hey, thanx, Byron, for finding the link to Boardman Marina Park. We love spending time in the Columbia Gorge and will definitely check out this spot.

After leaving the Gathering last July, we camped at a nice Army Corps of Engrs CG across the river on the WA side at McNary Dam. It is west of I-82 and not signed very well, but we quite enjoyed our stay. Happy holidays and safe travels to all! L 'n D

ps - Nancy - eeeeek zero & snow ... stay warm! LdB
