How tall am I

I’m sitting in the parking lot of the Mitchell, SD Culvers, waiting for my wife to run in and grab our lunch. The drive thru says Clearance 10 Ft. I’ve got a 2017 Scamp 16 with a rooftop Dometic A/C. Would I fit?

My guess you're around 9', but it's better to find a ladder and measuring tape...

And a four-foot level to make sure your measurement is accurate. You place the level on the high point and when level, measure from the level to the ground. Helps to have an assistant.

The picture is my 2017 16' deluxe (before mods) parked in an 8-foot door. That door is really 7'11". Many truck drivers have hit things that would have cleared according to the sign. Changes get made but not the signs. I also keep the height, width, and length posted next to the speedometer of the tow vehicle. Have you ever heard, Trust me, take a run at it, it will fit?
P.S; Enjoy The World's Only Corn Palace, and I have over night parked at Cabela's.

Or a 4’ board and a smaller level. Not quite as accurate, but I’d be adding a few inches anyway in case the ground isn’t level as you negotiate a tight vertical clearance.

Exactly what I did when I built a carport to store our Casita in for the winter. And I measured more than once to be sure. Then added another foot to the bottom of the roof rafters to have plenty of clearance. Then note the measurement somewhere, like on the tow vehicle sun visor in case you forget it. Or do like on the big trucks, backwards numbers on the left front corner of the trailer so you can read them in your mirror.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I’ll carefully measure it and maybe put it on the driver’s side of the Scamp in reversed numbers so I see it in my mirror.
