How to include a URL in a post

Can anyone tell me how to include a URL in a post so that it is clickable for the person reading the post?

There's a little icon above where you're typing. It looks like a world with chain link. Click on the and put your URL in the little white box.

To expound on that, if you want a word or series of words to be a hyperlink, like this, then in your editing window highlight those word(s) and then click the hyperlink icon on the toolbar:
. (I like to bold and underline the word(s) before adding the hyperlink to make it standout)

But if you only want a link you can just enter it directly (or cut and paste from the URL address bar of the target site). The forum then formats the link according to the Misc options which are shown below your editing window. Thats for the web site, not sure about the app.

So assuming one or both of the appropriate misc options are checked, then entering this:

Using a PC:

highlite the URL you want

hit the Ctrl AND C keys at the same time

go to your post and put the cursor in the post where you want the URL

hit Ctrl AND the V key at the same time

Always works for me. When you post the thing the URL shows up BLUE most times.
