Hunter Structures of Chatsworth, California made trailers from 1968 to 1975. They made 2 models that were both 13' long and had a lifting roof section. Most of their trailers were labeled "Compact" and were either "Jr." or "II". A small number were labeled "Hunter I" and they appear to be the same trailer as the Compact II.

Tom;
Thanks so much for your historical information. Mine is labeled HUNTER I, still working on restoration and getting ready for some summer trips.
Best regards;

Anyone heard of a Peer Mini? Looks like a Compact Jr type to me.

Ooh, I hadn't heard of that one. I like the radius-cornered windows.

One thing has me curious: The seller says that it's "just like a compact jr, little different flloor plan."

In the Compact Jr. style trailer, how many different floor plans can there be? She says she will post more photos, but as of yet there are no interior ones. I hope she adds some!

Okay, now I'm feeling like this is almost a referral ad, so I think I'll cross-post the info in that sub-forum.

Raya

Edited to add: Oh, I notice one other thing, which is the exterior "X-shaped" pop top supports. I think the CJs usually have non-X-shaped, interior supports, don't they? I believe I've seen this style on Campsters and such though. Which ones does the Hunter I have?

Wish I could see more details in the photos. The body shell looks like a Compact Jr; wheel openings, left & right halves, etc. ;but, the windows are different, the raised top is much higher, and the lift mechanism is different. Very interesting.
