I had many people trying to buy my
Scamp from me for first 5-6 years I had it with out even seeing it. Some called me threatening and harassing me about it. So it's a seller's market for most of this type.
As everyone else has said on tow vehicle make sure it's capable to tow by manufacturer. My Jeep LJ can tow a 16 ft
Scamp weight wise it doesn't have a problem pulling or stopping it it's rated for 5000. I did get beat up with large SUV's buzzing around me and air off of them I would get a sway. I did have a few trips that I was surprised how good it pulled as long as it wasn't windy or large SUV's
Get a good tire pressure gauge, jack and tire tool that fits trailer lugs... Especially if you ever drive though Birmingham AL. or like city. 😣 Lesson learned I trashed 2
tires and rims driving though there.
By the way, most of the safety chains I've seen are not really up to the job, IMHO.
