Emmitt - another option to lower the cost it CampClub USA or Passport America. We are CC USA and they are are straight 50% off the park's rates. Not all belong, of course, and there are restrictions (holidays, weekends, high seasons, etc.), but when you DO use it they save money.
We use a blend of CC USA, state parks, BLM (free) and just regular parks to develop a blended cost. Will report back with another post - we JUST got in from 7 weeks, as soon as I pull the ##'s together, will post our average cost.
Re Wi-fi, do not overlook McDonald's. They have an aggressive plan to implement WiFi in many, many restaurants. We have sat in their parking lot and taken care of our 'net needs for the day. SOMETIMES they are better than libraries. Also, ASK in a local community - if there is a visitor center or such just WHERE the hot spots are. Sometimes they can help.
Happy Trails... Alan

ok...I need to ask....I've been on a web page that shows RV parks...from what I see most of the parks don't have wi-fi or TV unless I stay at a high Dollar park...??
