And they didn't even mention bowling balls nor bags of tuck pointing mortar. Two staples, for sure.

It's a long list, all right, but you know what?

I just looked it over real carefully, and except for the 18 volt cordless tools kit, the impact tools, and multiple bigger wrenches and sockets my own tool "kit" covers all the same bases without occupying any great amount of otherwise useful space.

I s'pose there may be a difference in sheer scale, though...

I forgot about something that I'd have to add to the above list: my tire repair kit. Doesn't take up much room, though...

And it works a lot better than the patch we did with superglue and cloth fibers the time we had two flats in a row on the Kia while thirty miles up a Forest Service road. That one only lasted for about fifteen miles before we had to do it again!

Yeah, that is quite the list. A lot more than I carry. My kit lives in my Pilot. I do not carry anything to repair a tire, just change them.

Soft sided tool kit
Pliers - lineman/needle
Small sidecutters
Adjustable wrench
Small socket set
12V drill and driver/drill set
Screwdriver set
Utility knife
Level
Tape measure
Ball lubricant
Jack
Tire wrench - tow & 13/16
Small level
Tape - electrical, fiberglass, masking
12V Air compressor
Tire pressure gauge
Booster cables

We've been carrying a spray can for 12 years and the 'rubber strings'. We've used the strings 3 times during our travels.

Besides the automotive repair tools,
for the trailer:
I carry spare wheel bearings, grease seals and 1/2 can of grease.
Spare electrical switch, for the water pump, porch light, etc. All of my add on switches are all the same so I need to carry only 1 extra switch.
Pop rivet gun and spare rivets, caps and back up washers
one singe step and one 2 step folding stool.
A fist full of wire ties.
spare fueses for the load center.
spare 12 volt bulbs for lights and tail lights including led replacements.
a partial roll of butyl tape, Foil and plastic duct tape and red & Black electrical tape
wire stripper/crimper and some electrical connectors
digital multimeter
a couple of hose clamps.
small can wd-40
small tool kit in plastic box with ratchet, sockets screwdriver and multi bits. small kit usually found during the holidays for 10-15$
some bungee cords
small box assortment of stainless steel screws.
1 foot long #2 phillips bit for the screwdriver to remove the cover off the frigerator burner.
a couple of good flash lights.
Some really large heavy garden trash bags.
hose nozzel and some extra hose washers.

Speaking of flat tire repair, my dad and I were using Ride On for our motorcycles/scooters, which acts as both a puncture sealant and balancer.

We threw a tube each of it into the Burro's tires, too. I can't tell you how it performs yet, though, since I haven't collected any punctures since then.

LOL

Though I do use a fair bit of duct tape on things, I have started using fiber reinforced tape a lot more. It has WAY more tensile strength.

Still, if I had to patch a hole in my canoe, it would be the duct tape I grab for.

Joke:
Why are duct tap and the Force alike?

They both have a dark side and a light side, and they bind the universe together.
