...and by most accounts, the purchase price is just the beginning of what a Land Rover costs!
Fun to dream, though!

Anybody remember what they called the Land Rover in The Gods Must be Crazy?

Sorta like an 8N?
No really, one of the main reasons I have a Scamp is so I can drive something I like to drive, so I get it.
Got one of these?...

Then new LR do get stuck in soft mud unlike the Anit-Christ versions.
Although the L.R. staff Brits when they launched the new one many years back, suggested not using stuck but "Forward progress temporarily impeded"

An 8n and a vintage fiberglass would certainly make an interesting pair. No tow rating issues. Certain to draw a crowd, though running away won't be an option. Both cost the same or more today than they did new. As I recall the 8n came with positive ground so solar might be an easier charging option. British cars used to be positive ground as well.......

American cars were Positive ground when that 8N was built, and 6V as well.
