If you're in Oregon take time to visit the Gordon House in Silverton, OR, not too far from Salem. The Gordon House is located in Oregon Gardens on Main Street Silverton.

The Gordon House is the only house in Oregon designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and well worth a visit. On our travels we seek out his designs and this one is well worth a visit.

Yes, I went there and really enjoyed it also. I love his designs.

We've been to the most well known, Falling Water, a great house in a great setting.

Next time we go thru Wisconsin we're going to take a month to see his designs.

If you like eastern european food-you will love Novaks! Try and save some room for dessert tho it is difficult because the food is "hearty" to say the least. Their combo plates give you a good sampling of the various menu items and I recommend it. We hosted a student from the Czech Republic a few years back and she said the food was as close to what she ate at home as anything she had eaten anywhere.
