Although I expect 1 more snowfall. I feel that spring is in the final stages of installing. Got the 1st inquiry of the season ... "Is your trailer for sale?"
A sure sign the wannabies are coming out of hibernation in this area.

I'm sitting at my desk looking out at sunny skies and no snow on the ground. But unfortunately it is still chilly.

Just heard the Tornado warning siren going off nearby, so we're wondering if it is a test, or they are just letting us know that the temperature has finally moved above 50degrees!

I did the first full-blown mowing the yard this afternoon.
I had mowed over the sewer lines once. But did the whole
yard today. And it hit 70 degrees today.

An inch of snow on the ground this morning, and more is falling as I type this. Calgary has had snow in every month of the year, (but not in the same year).

I Think that we now have Spring fully installed here on the Texas Gulf Coast....because the Pecan trees have leafed out! ( the old wives tale is the Pecan trees will not leaf out until after the last freeze) We have had some cold ( at least to us) as it did get down into the 30's a couple of times this week. I know our friends in Durand,Mi laughed at me when I told them is was cold here, but hay you folks just keep sending us that cold north wind! We are ready for camping and the beach and we also want to take out our new kayak trailer that we are almost finished building.
