I've heard of hitchitis (anxious to hit the road), inchitis (wanting a bigger trailer) and other coined terms of art. What do you call it when camping takes over your brain and you dream about it - or related activities?

Last night I dreamed I had a Honda eu2000i. I was camping with my Dad. Somebody took the generator and I didn't want to tell him. I spent the whole night clandestinely (in my sleep) searching for that %*#)$* generator. I woke up tired.

Most people dream about warm, sandy, beaches while "crouched beneath the tyranny of winter", but not me. I find myself reading Robert Service as I drift off to sleep. My friends think I must be nuts but for those who know, it's "The Call of the North" and you must go.

Hey Craig

My Grand parents came from Missouri
down Carthage way.
If you really want to go north consider the way I took my scouts
Reserve space on the Alaska inland ferry and go to Skagway.
(You can get a room on the ferry or stay in the day lounge meals on board.)
Then in Skagway go overland to White Horse and then to Dawson City.
Marvolus trip fablous scenery. The go the top of the world highway back to Alaska
and home on the ferry. Or if you prefer the Alaska highway into Canada and then wind your way back to US.
Robert W. Service was in both Whitehorse and Dawson City. Its a trip you will never forget.
Late July is a good time to go. No skeeters and such.

Lew

If you want more info let me know!!!
