It finally arrived!

Our new Escape 19' was completed on October 11th but we had many issues with delivery and it finally arrived last Thursday night at 10:30 PM...I was so excited about the delivery that I was standing in front of my house when the trucker drove up! Well, we just love it...many, many options with custom flooring and fabric we purchased and sent to Escape and pictures to follow but we are going to break it in over Thanksgiving week camping at the ocean at Pismo Beach in California. WOW!!!!

Hooray!

I'll bet you're like a kid in on Christmas morning...

When the excitement wears off, would you mind taking a look at the yellow weight sticker it arrived with? I'm curious about the as-built weight of the new Escapes, and since all new trailers come from the factory with that (temporary) sticker I thought I'd ask what it says before you take it off...

Thanks!

Francesca

There was no yellow sticker...

The "Certificate of Origin" stated 1145kg or 2519lbs weight.

Congrats to you on your new trailer! Pic's would be great! Nice that you were able to customize the flooring and fabric for what you guys wanted.

I recently got to tour a 19 Escape, all I can say is Trailer envy! An Escape will be my next glass trailer. I can tell you that!

How exciting for you. I saw my first Escape 19 last week but it was on the highway going the other way so couldn't get a good look!
Can't wait for pictures. Have fun camping at Thanksgiving.

We were just pulling out of our campsite in Jasper a couple years ago when I saw my first and only 19' Escape being backed into the campsite next to the one we were leaving. I had to stop for a couple of minutes to speak with the owner about how he liked it. This was their first camping trip with it so they didn't have a lot to say about it yet. I wish there would have been more time so I could have had a look at the inside but I'm sure I would have been jealous- brand spanking new and 2 more feet than our Casita- how cool is that! Congrats Steve!!

Wow. That is one awesome looking trailer. Cannot wait till ours is done in April. Like your choices of fabric and flooring. Kind of surprised you got to pick custom flooring as Reace told me that was one thing we could not change. Have fun with it.

Custom floor

Dave,

I ordered the Armstrong floor from the hardware store down the street from Escape and then Reese picked it up when it came in. Escape paid for the floor and I paid them. Give him a call if you really want to do it. I was never told I couldn't do it...

Jim, our rigs are going to look exactly the same except for pilot and canoe colors...my 17' Old Town Penobscot canoe is green

Wow, thats a nice brand new trailer!

(But as a Canadian living in Quebec, honestly, the first thing I noticed in your pictures was the palm tree surrounding your house... What a nice place!)

Yeah, my canoes are burnt orange, fiber with clear coat, and a cedar stripper. No traditional green, but that is always nice.

Looks awesome! Gives me many ideas for when we order our Escape. Deciding on the new 21 or a 5.0...or wait and see if a bigger 5th wheel is developed. Happy camping
