tricky...

I will try to explain the system DH came up with. On the belly band there are hollow rivets all the way around. We bought small buttons strung floral wire thru the button ran the wire down thru the holes in the rivets and wired it on and trimmed off the extra wire. The buttons are white but you could find silver ones and probably it would match better. Is that clear as mud?

The buttons just sit on top of the rivet to keep the wire from falling thru. So the wire is run up thru one hole in the button and then back down thru the the other hole and then you hold the two wires together, thread it down thru the rivet so the button sits on top of the belly band and the wires are coming out underneath so you can wire them around the rope light. We haven't had a chance to camp with them yet, but will watch them to make sure nothing comes loose. i have a few extras strung in case. Still pretty muddy?

LOL check out the sticker on the side of the trailer.... me thinks this is most definitely a girl trailer.

Now I just to need to get outside an at least wash mine before next week-ends National Glamping Week-end.

Aaaaargghhhh!! Hide them?

The wheels are the focal point of any vehicle!

The tires should be clean and dressed and the wheels painted and "trimmed" with hub caps and/or trim rings! (there; doesn't that sound almost girly?)

It's true about the focal point but I say it with humor!

And then there is the "my mag wheels are more rare and exclusive (expen$ive) than yours" school of dress-up.

How about painting flowers on the hubcaps?

No flowers on the Eurovan dash. That has a combination of Chicago Cubs and University of Iowa decor. Hmm. Neither goes with Uhaul. That won't take home a trophy at the VW show. Gotta think.

Thank you for this thread!!! I have such girly grandiose ideas for my 95' 13 Scamp! I pick her up on Saturday and already all flooring, knobs, fabric picked! All my boyfriend wanted was a camper! Haha! I call it camper flipping! I really want to remove my fuzzy rat fur walls but think it may be more daunting than its worth. Thoughts?
