it's got a FG roof.....

spotted this thing in Campbell River today.....it's obviously old, it's British....somebody has spent A WHOLE LOT of time and money on it, it's flawless!....super cute.....it's a "Commer"

I would put it in the "Class B" mini motor home category. Would be great for one or two people to tour the country in!
I wish they still made the old mini Winebago units on the small Toyota truck platform...compact and reliable...ever wonder why they discontinued such a good idea?..... Bigger is not always better!

Here's a Bedford 'Dormobile' in about 1960 with me at the wheel. The sliding doors were good for my Dad as he allowed himself to drive with it open, but in pre-seat-belt days my brother and I weren't allowed to do that on the passenger side. Yep, still rankles to this day....

The Commer would be lovely in a straight line, but those vans didn't care for turning corners and the topweight of the conversion can't help.
